THE SECOND MEETING IN ITALY-REAL MATHS TALK GOES ON...

The Second Meeting  in Italy

European Union Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership K2 School Project  Management meeting  was held  on 3rd-6th December in Tarquinia ,Italy.

At the meeting , the good practises of  presenting  Similarities and Conqruence on Triangles as  real lessons,prepared by 6 partner schools’ Math teachers ,  were  shared.Via the lesson presentations ,we had chance to evaluate the similarities and the differences of the teaching and learning methods.The exercises  were done ,using different methods.

The Project Toolkit as the outcome of  Real Maths Talk  was discussed and planned.

A new topic was identified at the meeting so the Roots  will be studied as the Project new topic.Six Partner Schools’ Math teachers will prepare a pre-test on  the Roots to have an overview on the students of each school.Then we will share the results and evaluate  the analysıs at the meeting in Rotterdam, on 11th-17th  February 2018 .Furthermore ,Partner schools’ Math teachers will present  Math lessons to teach The Roots to The Dutch students at Comenius College in Rotterdam,The Netherlands
